Abelia x grandiflora is a slow-growing ornamental shrub that typically reaches a height and width of 1.5–2 meters. It has an elegant growth habit, with upward-growing lower shoots that gradually arch and hang downward. The plant develops a form that varies between a vase shape and a rounded structure, making it highly decorative in landscape design.

🍃 The leaves are evergreen in mild climates and arranged oppositely on the stems. They are oval-shaped with pointed tips and measure approximately 1.5–4.5 cm in length. The leaf margins are slightly toothed from the middle toward the tip. When new leaves emerge, they appear reddish-brown, later turning into a glossy green color. In colder regions, the plant may lose about 50% of its foliage, while the remaining leaves change color to tones ranging from brown-bronze to purplish red, adding seasonal interest.

🌸 The flowers are abundant and highly attractive. They are white to pale pink in color and have a pleasant fragrance. The blossoms are bell-shaped and appear in clusters at the tips of the branches. The flowering period extends from July to September, providing long-lasting ornamental value during summer and early autumn.
